Processing a Sale
Navigate to Sales & Inventory → Sales.
Step-by-Step
- Open Till Session: Click "Open Till" and enter your opening cash balance
- Add Items:
- Scan barcodes, or
- Search by name, or
- Click products from the catalog
- Adjust Quantities: Use +/- buttons or enter directly
- Apply Discounts: Per-item or order-level discounts
- Select Customer: Link the sale to a customer (required for credit sales)
- Accept Payment:
- Cash: Enter amount received, system calculates change
- M-Pesa: Enter phone number, send STK Push
- Card: Process through your card terminal
- Credit: Record as credit sale (customer required)
- Split: Combine multiple payment methods
